Common questions
Is IELTS with AI free?
Yes. The app, daily lessons, study guides and Word of the Day are free. AI scoring for Writing and Speaking is part of Gold, with one free AI Speaking try during setup.
Is the AI band my official score?
No. It is a practice estimate based on the IELTS criteria. Only the IELTS test gives an official result.
Academic or General Training?
Both. Choose at setup and switch in Settings. Reading, Writing and the daily questions follow the module.
How is the overall band calculated?
Each of the four criteria gets a band from 0 to 9 in half-band steps. The overall band is their average, rounded to the nearest half band.
How many AI scores do I get with Gold?
Up to 3 Writing scores, 3 Writing reviews and 3 Speaking scores per day. Limits reset at midnight UTC.
What plans are available?
Gold comes in 1, 3, 6 and 12 month plans that renew automatically until you cancel.
