Terms of Use

Welcome to the IELTS with AI Terms of Use (these "Terms"). This is a contract between you and IELTS with AI ("we", "us"), and it covers your use of the IELTS with AI: Test Prep mobile app and this website (together, "IELTS with AI" or the "App"). Please read it before you use the App.

If you subscribe to Gold for a term, your subscription renews automatically for the same length of time at the then-current price unless you cancel it as described in Section 6.

1. IELTS WITH AI RULES

You can use the App as a guest or create an account ("Account") with email and password, Google or Apple. To use the App you must be legally permitted to use it under the laws of your home country. Some features, such as saving your progress across devices and Gold, need an Account.

If you create an Account with Google or Apple, you allow us to receive and use your name and email address from that provider. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

You may not use another person's Account or share your Account with anyone else without permission.

You can delete your Account at any time in Settings > Delete Account while you are signed in. This deletes your sign-in account and your main profile record. To have the rest of the data linked to your email deleted, email kimloydmail@gmail.com (see section 7 of the Privacy Policy). Deleting your Account does not cancel a Gold subscription.

We may suspend or terminate any Account, or restrict access to the App, at any time and without notice if you break these Terms, misuse the App or its AI features (for example by trying to get around daily limits), or for any other reason we reasonably consider necessary to protect the App and its users. If your Account is terminated or suspended for breaking these Terms, you will not receive a refund for paid services you have already been charged for, except where the law requires it.

You may not access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the App or our systems.

2. AI FEEDBACK AND EXAM INFORMATION

IELTS with AI is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the IELTS test owners. IELTS is a trademark of its respective owners.

AI band scores, reviews, corrections and model answers are produced automatically by an AI model. They are practice estimates based on the public IELTS criteria, can be wrong, and are not official IELTS results or a prediction of your test result. Please check official IELTS sources for test rules and dates.

3. OUR CONTENT

All text, questions, study guides, graphics, user interfaces, trademarks, logos, sounds, artwork and other material in the App, as well as the App software and databases ("Our Content"), are owned, controlled or licensed by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, database and other intellectual property rights. All right, title and interest in Our Content stays with us.

We grant you a non-exclusive, limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Our Content, without the right to sublicense, under the following conditions:

4. YOUR ANSWERS

You keep the rights to the answers you write or record in the App. You allow us to process them to give you AI scores and reviews, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit content that you do not have the right to use or that contains other people's personal information.

5. RESTRICTIONS ON THE APP

You agree to:

Scraping or replicating any part of the App, or sending automated requests to our AI features, by any means other than our published interfaces is prohibited unless we have agreed to it in writing.

6. PAYMENT TERMS

a. Generally

The App may offer purchases inside the App ("In-App Purchase"). In-App Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play ("Third Party Store"), and the Third Party Store's terms also apply. Additional terms shown to you at the point of purchase form part of these Terms.

b. Subscriptions and auto-renewal

Gold is an automatically renewing subscription, available as a 1-month, 3-month, 6-month or 12-month plan. IF YOU PURCHASE AN AUTOMATICALLY RENEWING SUBSCRIPTION, IT WILL RENEW AT THE END OF EACH PERIOD AT THE THEN-CURRENT PRICE UNLESS YOU CANCEL. To avoid being charged for a new period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Deleting your Account or deleting the App from your device does not cancel your subscription. If the price changes, you will be told in advance and given the chance to cancel.

c. Cancelling subscriptions

Cancel or change your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings (App Store) or in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions. If you cancel, Gold stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, it will not renew, and you will not receive a prorated refund except as described below.

d. Free trials

If a free trial is offered and you do not cancel before it ends, it converts into a paid subscription and the Third Party Store charges you at the then-current price.

e. Refunds

Generally, purchases are non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods, except where the law or the Third Party Store's policy requires it. Refunds are handled by the store you paid through:

Prices are set and taxes are collected by the Third Party Store according to the rules in your country.

7. NOTIFICATIONS

The App can send push notifications, such as exam-day reminders and replies to messages you sent us. You will be asked to allow or deny notifications, and you can turn them off at any time in your device settings.

If you believe any content in IELTS with AI infringes a copyright you own, please send a notice to kimloydmail@gmail.com that includes:

9. MISCELLANEOUS

These Terms, which we may amend from time to time, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and IELTS with AI and replace any earlier agreements. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

We take reasonable steps to keep IELTS with AI available, accurate and complete, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Your use of IELTS with AI is at your own risk. We are not responsible for loss arising from the transmission or use of data, or from relying on AI feedback.

We do not promise that IELTS with AI will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that it is free of viruses or other harmful components. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for damage to your devices or data caused by security breaches, viruses, bugs, interruptions, network failures or other technical problems.

You agree to receive communications from us electronically, in the App or by email, and that these satisfy any requirement that they be in writing. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We may change these Terms as the App grows. Changes will be posted on this page with a new Last Updated date, and for material changes we may also tell you in the App or by email. If you keep using IELTS with AI after a change, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept a change, stop using IELTS with AI.
